Answers submitted September 19, 2026 to Parents As First Educators. All ten policy questions were marked Yes. Comments are included where I wrote them.
1. Would you support a policy to ban flying the LGBTQ+ flag at the board offices and schools?
Yes
2. Would you support a policy to prevent the distribution of school surveys to K–8 students without first receiving consent from the student’s parent?
Yes
3. Would you support a policy to prohibit subjecting any individual, whether staff, student or teacher, to training or instruction that demands assent to the tenets of Critical Race Theory, Critical Theory, Feminist Theory, Intersectional Theory or any ideology that teaches that people are predisposed to be oppressors/victims due to their race or sex?
Yes
4. Would you support a policy to reinforce a parent’s fundamental right to make decisions regarding the care (including medical and emotional health) and overall upbringing of his or her child in a school setting?
Yes
5. Would you support a policy that prohibits classroom instruction on gender identity theory in board schools?
Yes
For elementary yes, but balanced discussion of topics is okay in high school.
6. Would you work to remove (or oppose adding) the terms “gender expression” and “gender identity” from the list of terms of non-discrimination in the board’s Codes of Conduct?
Yes
7. Would you support a policy to ban your publicly funded school board from mandating that “preferred personal pronouns” be used in the classroom or in the conduct of school board business?
Yes
8. Would you ensure that because individual freedoms are based on the fundamental truth that all individuals are equal before the law and have inalienable rights, student instruction, professional development, and board policies in public schools must be consistent with the Principles of individual freedom?

9. Would you support a policy that requires that instruction about sexism, sexual orientation, Indigenous rights, racism, and racial discrimination may not be used to indoctrinate or persuade students to a particular point of view inconsistent with the Principles of individual freedom?

10. Do you oppose any proposals for Ontario publicly funded schools to include forced or coerced vaccination that parents either have moral objections against or that lack long-term safety studies in the list of vaccines required for school attendance?
