Briefly describe what your top 3 priorities are in this election.
1. Change the culture. 2. Address issues. 3. Follow through.
Explain how you would address priority #1
The Board suffers from a culture of censorship and conformity. I will act to restore free speech and open debate. Good decision-making requires that all views be heard.
Explain how you would address priority #2
Three specific issues to address would be (i) limit screen time and AI dependency, (ii) improve safety and child safeguarding, and (iii) put an end to divisive identity politics—the Canadian flag represents everyone!
Explain how you would address priority #3
Clear metrics and transparency—the public shouldn’t have to file FOIs—must be followed by accountability. Finally, throwing up our hands at jurisdictional constraints doesn’t cut it when kids are suffering—the Board must advocate for our students over the interests of unions and the Ministry’s progressive ideologues.
What else do you want voters to know about you and your campaign?
For me, the process of open discourse and informed decision-making is just as, or even more important than, the outcome. If, after much open and vigorous debate, the public decides against my favoured position, I can live with it. But consent must be well-informed.
